About This Resource

Think sheets are an ideal classroom tool that promotes positive behaviors, student reflection and strong classroom community. They prompt students to think through their positive and negative behaviors and consider the best choice. They are perfect to send home to parents. These are editable so they can be customized with questions and language that are tailored to your classroom.

What's Included?

  • Think Sheet: Encourages students to consider their negative behaviors, how they could act differently, how it affected others, and what to do now.

  • Brag Sheet: Great positive communication tool with students and parents. Recognizes students for expected behaviors.

  • What If ... Map: Contingency Map to determine the best choice to make.

  • Reflection Sheet Log: Simple location to log your think sheets and brag sheets, keep track of parent communication, and look for behavior trends in your classroom.

  • All student sheets are provided in Black and White or Color (accents) and are editable so you can change the student questions.

Who Should Buy This?

This resource is perfect for classroom teachers or other educators looking to take a more balanced approach to school discipline that lets children think through mistakes and misbehaviors, and also recognize what led to prosocial behaviors or accomplishments.

What Are People Saying?

This was a great addition to my "calm-down" corner. After teaching students how to complete the think sheets, they were able to independently complete them throughout the year.

Love that they are all things students fill out for reflection on both good choices and more questionable choices.

These sheets are great for helping students look at an event, what went wrong with the event, and what they can do differently.

Super Handy For Parent Communication

My students fill this out with me during centers when they have exceeded the warning rule. I like that we fill it out together, they can draw what they can in the boxes, and I can write when they can't illustrate their thinking. I especially love that it gets sent home, and I have a record of the sheets going home, so I can easily look for patterns, and I have a record that I have informed parents of these incidents without adding more to my plate.

Having my students reflect on their negative choices causes them to actually stop and think about what they did and why -- this is a great tool for that!

This was so helpful in helping my students express how they were feeling during difficult times as well as a way for us to celebrate the positive moments to parents at home.

Use these items in my self contained behavior classroom for K-5. They are engaging and the students will do them. Often times the reflection process is another trigger, but not with these!

I use the Think Sheets as a reflection tool when a situation has occurred whether inside or outside of the classroom. This really helps the students visualize the consequences of their actions. On the other hand, my students get real excited when receiving the Brag Sheets.

This resource has really helped with behavior in my classroom. If a student fills out a think sheet, I have them decide on a consequence. If they fill out a brag sheet, I have them decide on a reward.

I use this resource all the time! My students are thrilled when the take home a Brag Sheet. The think sheet is really appropriate for me to use with my students to help build social/behavior skills they need 1:! instruction with! Thank you so much!! LOVE IT!!

I love that this resource includes Brag Sheets! When a child only gets Think Sheets, it can be a drain on his/her self-esteem. But trying to balance it with Brag Sheets is awesome! My only suggestion is that this resource be differentiated a bit more for the younger students. It's rated for 1st-5th, and the sheets are text only, so a lower level option would be great. But, the editable version included is helpful for that, too. So, overall, excellent product! Thank you!!
