About

Winter themed social emotional learning activity to help students identify who supports them and how to access those people.

This student booklet is a series of 8 hot cocoa cups. Each hot cocoa cup has a prompt for the student to think of someone that they can count on for help in different locations. For example, who can they rely on at home, at school, or in the community?

Understanding who your support system is in different situations is a key social emotional skill. Support systems are the people we can go to for help, as well as people we can rely on and talk to. Students should also realize how they are a support for other people too.  You can expand this for different ages by talking about specific scenarios or why is that person part of their support system.
